When I landed in Eleuthera I decided that I would challenge myself. First, I would not take a photo of a single beach.
This is the 21st century, everyone knows that the islands of the Bahamas are renowned for their beaches. I did not want to take images of young boys diving into the harbor or of old folks walking to church. I wanted the capture the island by taking images that were unique to that island. I hope that when one views these images that he or she automatically thinks of Eleuthera. I focused on the landmark, the colors and shapes. This is my way to prove that each island has an individual identity.
